Privacy policy

This policy covers askdengh.com and any order you place with Askden in Accra, Ghana. It does not cover sites we link to.

• Order details — your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number, and what you bought.
• Account details, if you create one — the same contact information plus your saved addresses and order history.
• Support messages you send us, and restock-alert requests if you ask to be notified.
• Basic technical data — the pages you view and device information, used to keep the site working and understand what is useful.

Card details are entered directly with Paystack and never reach us — see section 5.

To take and fulfil your order, arrange delivery and installation, handle returns and warranty claims, answer your questions, send restock alerts you asked for, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

Only the parties needed to run the shop: our delivery and installation partners, Paystack for payment, and our hosting and email providers, each acting on our instructions. We never sell your data or share it for someone else's advertising.

Payments are processed by Paystack. Your card information is handled on their PCI-compliant systems; we receive only a confirmation and a reference. Their handling of your data is covered by Paystack's privacy notice.

We use a small number of cookies that are essential — keeping your cart, your region and your session. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Order and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires. Account data is kept until you ask us to close the account. Support messages are kept while they are useful, then deleted.

• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete your account and data, where we are not required to keep it.
• Unsubscribe from restock alerts at any time from the email.

The site runs over HTTPS and access to order data is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

The shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
